On Love & Consciousness in Action

My short description of the philosophy behind the consciousness coaching which I provide is:

"Consciousness, the observer, is our True Self. Being fully present to our highest aspirations and greatest dreams as human beings, we can take action and have impact on the reality around us, independent of our thinking and feeling, simply because we are committed to it. It may not feel right, our thinking may rebel against it and our ego may resist, but we can do it because we are committed to it. It is only by being in the action of fulfilling our commitments that we can be in our "Isness" (rather than our "thrown-ness"), in reality (rather than in our "story" about our reality), in acceptance of "what is" (rather than in resistance against it), in creation (rather than in reaction), and be victors (rather than victims) in life. Being present thereby is essential, as we can only impact our reality in every "here and now".

To the degree that we keep our word and fulfil our commitments, to that degree we are in integrity with ourselves, will grow self-esteem and -confidence, will be successful, are serving the higher good, and truly are creating a new world for us and those we care about, which, of course, may be all living beings. Authenticity thereby is truly Self-love, actualised by our surrender to our higher calling as a human being, by doing all we can to serve it and make our vision come true. Completion, lastly, is crucial, as all unfinished business consumes our energy, and takes away from our ability to be fully present, aware and open to play in every here and now. Completion can come in the way of simply finishing all that we have committed to, and through the art of full forgiveness - of others and ourselves - and the thus recovery of our presence and integrity, so that we are, in every moment, fully available and free for life as it comes and as we co-create it.

This then truly is Love in Action, which can only come from our committed living of our calling, which results in our contributions and our legacy to the world, and is marked by a deep and unmistakable sense of doing the right thing, giving us deep meaning, fulfilment and joy.

In short Enlightenment, and the joy and fulfilment it gives, simply is the state of being love in action of our committed creation, following our calling and through our presence, authenticity, integrity and completion"

I hereby wish to pay tribute to Marc Steinberg, of Creative Consciousness International (www.cci-portal.com) in Cape Town, RSA, as the originator of this philosophy as taught to me, which I have hereby expressed in my words as I understand it

Warmest
